It was just over two months ago when the Android Market surpassed 100,000 apps, and now according to AndroLib, the store has unofficially broken the 200,000-app barrier.
Apparently the effort to expand the Android Market( ) to more than 20 countries is paying off. It took the store almost two years to get to the 100,000-app mark, but just 63 days to double that.
Google recently launched its Chrome Webstore for dedicated applications and extensions. Although the store is still in its early stages, there is already a wealth of choice for any small business owner.
In this lingering recession, small retailers are having to get clever and offer more than just unique products and superb customer service.
This holiday season, consumers are beginning to shop and make purchases on their mobile phones.
